How to measure your roof pitch:
Lay a minimum 1 meter long flat timber, batten or similar straight object along the pitch of the roof as shown in figure A
Use an inclinometer (Figure.B), mobile device spirit level app (Fig.C) or similar device to measure the roof pitch.
Do this by laying the inclinometer on the 1 meter long flat timber, batten, or similar straight object.
