- Can I install Solar Panels or Photovoltaic (PV) systems on top of Onduline sheets?
Onduline UK does not sell accessories that allow installation of Solar/PV panels onto any of its products.
An external Solar/PV specialist may be able to offer a solution.
This is typically done by using a "hanger bolt" to penetrate the sheets at the apex of the corrugations. Please note such solutions need to be provided and guaranteed by others (roof designer, structural engineer) who will oversee all aspects of the installation.
Please note: Solar/PV penetrations on Onduline sheets are classed as a "modification" and as such will void the product warranty. If the solution is robust and does not cause leaks or other damage to Onduline products within the Onduline product warranty period, than Onduline sheets will not be affected by such applications.
The above applies to all the Onduline product ranges.
