BARDOLINE DETAIL STRIP
BARDOLINE DETAIL STRIP is an asphalt shingle roll used to finish the edges of the ridge, eaves and hips of a roof.
The detail strip is laid along the ridge of the roof, with an equal amount dressed down each side of the roof, fixed with Felt Lap Adhesive, and then the lower edge is nailed at 15cm centres.
The BARDOLINE DETAIL STRIP is available in a range of colours to match the BARDOLINE CLASSIC and BARDOLINE PRO shingle ranges.

APPLICATIONS
INSTALLATION & DOCUMENTATION
Fixings detail strip to Eaves and Verges:
Unroll detail strip onto roof along the eaves allowing for a 5cm drip edge.
Unroll detail strip onto roof along the verge (covering the eaves roll). Allow for a 5cm drip edge.
Nail back drip edges for both eaves and verge at 5cm centers.
Fixing shingle strips:
Overlay the eaves detail strip with the first course of BARDOLINE shingles.
Install BARDOLINE shingles, as per the fixing instructions
Fixing at Hips and Ridges:
Position and fold detail strip over ridge or hip abutment, apply a continuous bead of sealant adhesive 15mm from the strip edge and use a heat gun to bond to Bardoline shingles adhesive strips. On exposed sites complete fixing by nailing the edge of the detail strip at 15cm centres.
