Onduline sheets require minimal maintenance to ensure their longevity and effectiveness. Here are some key maintenance tips:

Debris Removal: 
Regularly remove leaf debris and other build-ups from the surface of the sheets. Accumulated debris can decompose into leaf mold, which may soften the Onduline sheets and reduce their lifespan.
 

Tree and Shrub Management:
Trim any tree or shrub branches that are in contact with the sheets. Movement from wind can cause these branches to damage the Onduline sheets over time.
 

Safety Precautions During Maintenance:
- Ensure that all workers can perform maintenance tasks safely without damaging the corrugated bituminous sheets or tiles.
- Verify that the roof frame can support the additional weight of the workers.
- Use a ladder or similar equipment to distribute weight evenly and avoid walking directly on the corrugations or between two supporting battens or purlins.
- For roofs with a steep pitch, it is essential to use a safety harness to ensure worker safety.
- In some cases, an aerial lift may be necessary to access the roof safely.
