Onduline's INNOLINE® roofing sheets are made from a composite mixture utilising Onduline's Compact Core Technology.
The specific material composition consists of:
Recycled Cellulose Fibres: High-quality cellulose (derived from wood and plants) makes up a significant portion of the base board.
These fibres are tightly compressed into a dense, uniform structure to give the sheet its structural rigidity and mechanical strength. Bitumen: The compressed fibre core is saturated with bitumen under intense pressure and heat.
The bitumen provides the sheet's primary waterproofing, flexibility, and excellent sound-absorbing qualities. Thermosetting Resin: Used to bind the composite together, ensuring the sheet maintains its shape, rigidity, and strength over time without becoming brittle.
Natural/Inorganic Pigments: Colour pigments are infused into the sheet via a resin impregnation process.
This effectively "stains" the material rather than just painting the surface, offering UV reistance and preventing peeling.
Key Difference from Standard Onduline
NNOLINE sheets are engineered with a premium, traditional tile-effect finish on the top surface, specifically designed for a more aesthetic look on sheds, garages, and garden buildings.
