Winning the garden landscaping category in the 40th anniversary GIMA awards was ‘a great way to end an outstanding year’, according to Paul Duffy, Managing Director of garden roofing specialist Onduline.

The company’s newly-introduced EASYLINE DIY roofing sheets was judged the winner by a panel of garden industry experts who praised it as ‘a versatile product, ideal for small projects’.

The award was presented during a glittering evening at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, hosted by entertainer and broadcaster Vernon Kay.

At 100cm by 76cm, EASYLINE is a compact roofing system that is perfect for sheds, studios, pet shelters and other garden buildings and annexes.

It is available as an attractive free-standing PoS display that is simple to stock on a shop floor and which showcases the roofing sheets, accessories and fixings.

EASYLINE is available in several bright colours and compares favourably to traditional shed felt thanks to its 10-year waterproofing guarantee and ease of installation.

It is easy to transport and will fit inside the boot of an average family-sized car.

Each sheet is made of 50% to 60% recycled fibres and contains no hazardous substances, making it completely safe for people and family pets.

Paul added: “We have made a significant investment in growing our presence in the DIY and garden centre retail sectors this year, building strong relationships.

“This is bearing fruit in many different ways, and winning the GIMA award is a great way to end an outstanding year.”
