ONDULINE EASYSTYLE Installation

Like all of Onduline's roofing sheets, ONDULINE EASYSTYLE® is made from a flexible and easy to handle material, ensuring an easy and longlasting solution for your roof.

The Onduline material does not contain any asbestos, or harmful chemicals, and is free from metal so it will never rust!

ONDULINE EASYSTYLE corrugated roofing sheets give a beautiful tile look to the roof of your garden outbuildings, carports, pergolas and other timber framed leisure buildings. Thanks to their lightweight (about 2.7 kg/m2) and their great mechanical flexibility, ONDULINE® EASYSTYLE sheets are easy to install and have a 10-year waterproofing warranty. A fast waterproofing solution that provides a tiled aesthetic.

EASYSTYLE Installation Conditions

Minimum pitch: 10 degrees
Installation is possible on full deck or battens.
Pitches of > 5° - 10° : Full deck is required
Pitches > 10° : Can be installed on battens with a maximum spacing of 37 cm

Installation Steps: ONDULINE EASYSTYLE

Step 1: Prepare the structure

Installation can be on either full deck like on OSB panel (recommended) or on discontinuous support with purlins/battens with a spacing of 37 cm.

Start laying sheets over the gutter with 5 cm overhang.

Step 2: Lay the sheets

Lay sheets in the opposite direction to the prevailing winds. “UP ” signs indicate the direction of the ridge.

Stagger the rows, by starting the second row with a half sheet.

Ensure waterproofing by aligning the overlapping lines (overlap 15 cm).

Step 3: Fix the sheets

15 fixings minimum should be used per sheet.

To fix the sheets, always set the screw or nail in the top of corrugation on the grey marks and in the right order. as advised. Wait to fix the last corrugation until you overlap it with the verge element or the next sheet.

Step 4: Fixing the verge

The aesthetics and wind uplift protection can be optimized by using the verge element accessory, which is fixed first on the sidewall, then as well on the top of the corrugation.

Ensure a minimum 12cm overlap when fixing the verge with 6 fixings per verge element.

Step 5: Secure the ridge

Cover the ridge and fix it on each side of the roof, on top of each corrugation. The direction of the overlap is opposite to the direction of the prevailing winds.

Step 6: Ridge overlap

Use a ridge batten to support the Onduline ridge piece as shown.

The ridge element has to overlap the ONDULINE EASYSTYLE sheet by a minimum 12 cm.
