Terms and Conditions [UKMSA]

By submitting your details for this charitable gift (“Gift”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”).

Onduline Building Products Limited is the promoter of this initiative (“Company”).

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e.g. to change the scope of the gift (awarding a gift of similar nature) or in the event of circumstances beyond its control. Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.

The initiative will run from Monday 3rd October 2022 to Tuesday 31st October 2023 (“Initiative Period”).

How to participate

To be eligible for this “Gift”, entrants must submit their details online via the Onduline website (“Eligible Entrants”).

All Eligible Entrants must complete and submit the online registration form available on https://uk.onduline.com/en/diy/ukmsa-onduline-partnership to be considered for the “Gift”.

Eligibility

The initiative is open to all UKMSA members only.

Only those persons who are resident in the UK and aged 18 or over are eligible to submit their entry. Any entry from a person under the age of 18 will be disqualified.

The initiative

There will be a maximum of 2 ‘Sheds’ per month in total who will receive (“Gift”) Onduline lightweight roofing materials up to the value of £150 (ex.VAT) material cost per project, and will only apply to projects in the UK Mainland.

The gift is as stated and is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. There is no cash or other alternative to the gift in whole or in part.

Announcement

The chosen project will be announced via the Shoulder to Shoulder newsletter and in social media once the enquirer has been notified. 

The project will be assessed by the Onduline team to ensure suitability and compliance with building control.

The representative from the ‘Shed’ will be notified by email and phone (using details on the account) within 2 weeks of receiving the initial enquiry.

Claiming the gift

The representative from the chosen ‘Shed’ will be required to confirm acceptance of the gift within three (3) days of having been notified.

If the enquirer has not claimed their gift by the date specified or refuses or is unable to provide an eligible email address or verify they are eligible for receipt of their gift, this will result in forfeiture of the gift and the Company reserves the right (without further liability to the enquirer) to perform a redraw (on the same basis as above) from the pool of Eligible Entrants who have completed the online registration form.

Data Protection and Publicity

The Company will collect and process participants' personal information and it will be shared with the Company’s agents, affiliates and, if applicable, any third party gift provider (including those outside the UK, such as transport companies). Information provided by participants will only be used for the purpose of conducting this initiative (including for gifts to be delivered) and other purposes as may be specified at the time of submission or on promotional materials. General

The Company’s decision is final and binding on the participants. No correspondence will be entered into.

If participants do not provide any of the mandatory information requested when participating in the Initiative, their entry will be void.

The Company is not responsible for any information incorrectly provided.

The Company, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the recipient or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the gift except where it is caused by the negligence of the Company, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected

Onduline lightweight roofing materials must be stored inside prior to installing, and must be installed in accordance with Onduline installation instructions and guidelines, found in the Onduline website.

If you wish to opt out of the Initiative, you must inform the Company in writing by emailing [email protected] providing your full name and contact details.

The Company cannot be held liable for the gift if lost, stolen, damaged or defaced.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
