KEEPING IN WITH NATURE
We were delighted to team up with Ella from @therussellshomeĀ to install our very popular ONDULINE CLASSIC sheets in beautiful green.
Ella'sĀ garden shed had recently been refurbished with a fibreglass roof to keep it watertight, but the finish wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing so ONDULINE CLASSIC in green was chosen for her 7m (length) x 3.2m (width) garden shed.Ā A great size shed for the ONDULINE CLASSIC sheets.

Before Shot
Although recently refurbished and watertight, Ella was keen to improve the appearance of her garden shed and decided on ONDULINE CLASSIC in green to blendĀ perfectly with the trees surrounding the shed giving it a natural finish.
Ella comments "we are hoping the green will blend with the trees and look much prettier from the house".

ONDUTISS membranes
For complete weatherproofing, ONDUTISS membranes can be used under the sheets for better ventilation and waterproofing.Ā
ONDUTISS underlays will provide extra waterproofing for your timber roof under any of the ranges of ONDULINE corrugated sheets or BARDOLINE shingles.Ā
With Ella's shed already being fibreglassed, ONDUTISS wasn't required for this installation, so just the timber batons were needed to be laid.

Timber frame
Before installing the panels, a timber frame was built and screwed on top of the fibreglass. You can refer to the Onduline guidance for how to fit the frame correctly.Ā

Installation Steps
The final installation looks fantastic and we are delighted to be able to share Ella's installation steps with you, watch the video below.
"We found this system very easy to fit and we couldnāt be happier with the end result.
The YouTube video was very easy to understand and follow, which started us off in good stead. Then once we had measured the panels they were simple to cut. Then it was just a case of hammering in the fixings - job done!
We chose green because there are a lot of trees around the shed and we wanted it to blend in with those as much as possible...and it does- perfectly!
I would 100% recommend this system for both aesthetic and practical reasons."
